INTERNSHIP – GLOBAL CATEGORY MANAGEMENT - Global Rubber Industries (Pvt) Ltd.

GRI is a leading specialty tire producer in Sri Lanka. We have been supplying tires to more than 100 countries worldwide since 2002. GRI has sales offices in the United States, Europe, and Australia. We produce high-performance tires for Agriculture, Material Handling, and Construction vehicles.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Intern in Global Category Management. This opportunity offers valuable exposure to regional sales operations and category management across multiple international markets.

Job Profile:

·       Coordinate and support regional sales operations across multiple markets and categories.

·       Maintain and monitor regional sales performance updates, order progress, and invoicing coordination.

·       Assist in preparing sales reviews, business presentations, and category performance updates for management discussions.

·       Liaise with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and Regional Directors (RDs) to gather market updates, business inputs, and sales-related information.

·       Support cross-functional coordination with Procurement, Technical, and other internal teams to ensure timely readiness of products and equipment related to New Product Development (NPD) initiatives.

·       Assist in maintaining category-related reports, trackers, and operational updates to support business decision-making.

·       Provide coordination support for Business Intelligence (BI) reporting requirements and follow-up activities.

·       Support category management activities, strategic projects, and regional business initiatives as required.

·       Ensure timely follow-up and communication with internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth execution of sales and category-related activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

G.C.E. A/L qualification

• Undergraduates or fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Strong communication skills
• Good presentation skills

Preferred Profile:

Age between 20 – 25 (preferred)

• Strong interest in sales, business coordination, or category management
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
